Low Committment

Join us for occasional support on events or projects when your schedule allows. Every bit of help makes a big difference!

The Beautification Committee is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing projects that enhance the appearance and atmosphere of the school. These may include landscaping, pressure washing, maintaining gardens, organizing campus clean-up events, picking up trash around campus, painting, etc. This committee meets every other month to create a clean, attractive, and inspiring environment for learning.

The Cafeteria Helpers Committee supports the school staff by assisting during lunchtime at big school. Volunteers help supervise students, open containers, pass out utensils, clean up between grade levels, and ensure a smooth and safe lunch experience. This is a great way to get involved on campus and see your kids in action during their school day!

The Grandparents Day Committee organizes the grandparents days throughout the year to celebrate the important role grandparents play in our students’ lives. Volunteers help coordinate activities, organize refreshments, decorate, and ensure our guests feel warmly welcomed and appreciated. It’s a heartwarming event that brings generations together and creates lasting memories!

The Health Committee supports the well-being of our students by promoting a healthy school environment. This group helps coordinate activities like vision and hearing screenings, supports wellness initiatives, and assists with health-related events like Girl Talk 101. It’s a great way to help keep our school community healthy, safe, and informed!

The Membership Committee keeps our Home & School Club organized and running smoothly! This group maintains an up-to-date list of members, tracks attendance at meetings, and manages the 50/50 and raffle at each gathering. It’s a great fit for detail-oriented volunteers who like helping behind the scenes and keeping things on track while adding a little fun to our meetings!

Want to help out but can’t commit to a regular schedule? The No-Commitment Committee is perfect for you! This flexible group of volunteers pitches in whenever they’re available—whether it’s helping at a school event, setting up for a fundraiser, or lending a hand behind the scenes. There’s no pressure or ongoing obligation—just opportunities to get involved when it works for you. Sign up to be added to the GroupMe and we will send a text out for volunteer positions that we need filled or small tasks we need handled behind the scenes. Every bit of help makes a big difference!

The Council of Catholic School Cooperative Clubs (CCSCC) is the umbrella organization of all parent clubs in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. We help coordinate Keep Christ in Christmas activities and fundraisers, and attend all CCSCC Council meetings (held 4 times a year on a Monday night.)

The Supply Kit Committee helps take the stress out of back-to-school. This team works with the vendor to place orders, coordinate delivery, and make sure each kit gets to the right classroom before the first day of school. It’s a great behind-the-scenes job that helps families start the year off smoothly!

Medium Committment

Take on a consistent support role or co-lead a fundraiser. Perfect for those who want to stay involved without a full-time commitment.

The Family Fun Committee is dedicated to building community and connection among families by planning and organizing fun, inclusive events outside of school. This committee coordinates off-campus activities such as City Park Nights, Skate Nights, Laser Tag Night, Pelicans Night and Cool Zoo day.

The Fundraising Committee helps raise money for our school through fun and creative fundraisers throughout the year. This includes popular events like restaurant giveback nights, the poinsettia sale, the king cake sale, and the super fun Egg My Yard fundraiser in the spring! It’s a low-key way to get involved—whether you help plan, spread the word, or pitch in behind the scenes. Every little bit helps support our school and make great things happen for our kids!

Kimby Harrigan

The Hospitality Committee adds a special touch to our school and parish events by providing refreshments and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. This team sets up and serves at Home & School Club meetings, family Masses, and other school and parish gatherings throughout the year. It’s a great role for anyone who enjoys helping behind the scenes and making people feel at home!

Room Parents will take attendance at all HSC meetings, coordinate holiday activities for the class, assist with Fun Run, Grandparents Day, Field Day, and the Parish Fair. They also coordinate the classes end of the year pizza parties/events.

Maia Garrison

The Spirit Shop Committee helps keep school spirit strong all year long! This team fills Spirit Shop orders and sells school merchandise—like shirts, cups, stickers and more—at events throughout the year. It’s a fun way to be involved, help families show their school pride, and support the school at the same time!

Blue and White Night is our school’s signature gala event—an evening of celebration, community, and giving back. It is annually held in the second half of the school year. The Blue and White Night Committee is responsible for planning and executing one of the school’s biggest fundraising events of the year. From organizing auction items and securing sponsors to coordinating the Parade of Prizes, décor, entertainment, and event logistics, this committee works behind the scenes to create an unforgettable evening of fun, fundraising, and school spirit. It’s a great opportunity for creative, detail-oriented volunteers who enjoy event planning and bringing the community together for a great cause. This committee consist of two HSC chairs. The sub committees include Food & Beverage, Sponsorships, Auction Items, Classroom Projects, Parade of Prizes, Tickets & Reservations, and Decor.

The Fun Run Committee helps organize and support one of our school’s biggest and most exciting fundraisers of the year! It is annually held in the first half of the school year. The committee works closely with the Boosterthon team to promote school spirit, help with logistics, obtain sponsorships, plan student incentives, distribute prizes, and create a fun, energetic atmosphere for all. It’s a high-energy, high-impact way to support our school!

The Holiday Sip & Shop Committee is a volunteer group responsible for planning and coordinating a festive shopping event held during the holiday season. You will assist in organizing the event including recruiting and managing vendors, logistics/layout, set up and break down, and setting up student performances.

The Special Events Committee helps plan fun and meaningful events for families to enjoy together on campus. This includes favorites like the Father-Daughter Dance, Mother-Son Night, Mother-Daughter Event, Father-Son Event, and even our festive Christmas Movie Night! Volunteers help with planning, decorations, activities, and making sure everything runs smoothly. Volunteers are also responsible for serving refreshments at these events. It’s a great way to get involved, be creative, and help make lasting memories for our school community!
